There was a mailing list for it - in fact, there still is, but it's
effectively dead.  There's an archive of it at
<http://www.codesourcery.com/archives/c++-pthreads/threads.html>.  The
semantics of cancellations were a major point of contention, though not
entirely to blame for the failure of the list, I think.
