[cpp-threads] Updated revision of N2745 PowerPC example code sequences

Hello!

Herb spotted some gotchas in the previous revision of the PowerPC
example code sequences, attached is an updated version.

Unless there are objections or additional corrections, we will submit
this version to Clark, given the possibility of confusion from people
taking the original N2745 too seriously.  ;-)
