Only significant correctness fix after a (very) quick pass: someone 
might want to put a "public:" on that class ;-)

Also, in terms of credibility wrt the standard, just adopting the 
underscore_and_lower_case convention of the standard for member names 
might be one less thing for nitpickers to focus on.
