We discovered today that the deadline for the pre-Lillehammer mailing is
today.

Hoe firm is that deadline?

We are working on furthering the memory model/threading proposal in
http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/papers/2004/n1680.pdf .

I would ideally like to get some feedback from the committee about a few
fundamental decisions that need to be made before we can make much
progress.  We are still trying to work out whether one of us will be
able to attend in person.
